As a long time student of martial arts, I find the analogy in this episode very appropriate. How do we break through the terror barrier when facing change? Courage! This courage, when leveraged correctly, can help us break free from our paradigms and belief systems on our way to emotional freedom. This leveraging is not unlike the leverage that martial arts uses in dealing with an opponent. The opponent in our subconscious, however, is fear.
Stories from several of my former students dominate this episode, allowing me to demonstrate how people can overcome doubt and fear through mental martial arts. Self-awareness is key in recognizing this doubt and fear. You have but to choose a different direction…a direction of courage that is in line with your purpose.
